T In The Park 2003
Well, T In The Park music festival at
Balado (near Kinross) in Fife, Scotland!
For Q, Nutz and Gouranga, this was their first music festival. The other four (Banjo, Mistress, Mulder and Shucks), were prepared to show the new three the ways of not washing for days, toileting in portaloos, eating junk food, drinking and generally having fun!
Although the music is only on the weekend, we went for the whole weekend on a camping pass. That meant leaving Gullane early(ish) on Friday morning and getting back sometime on Monday! Most of us took the Tuesday off work too, just to recover! Also, you may notice the weather throughout ... most of us were a tad sun burned!

So, first thing's first ...

impression of just how many tents there were. However, this is just one
small corner of one field! We all had the sense to take some decent
chairs with us ... complete with in-arm can holder :-) |

At the end of the Friday
night, Gouranga is feeling rough, so goes to bed early. |
| He's making an early start on
the bevy the next day though ... That's a 2 litre plastic milk bottle
that's full of Gin and Tonic. He even brought a lemon which he cut up
to shove in the bottle! |

In the camp site were some
shows, stalls and junk food stands. Everyone but Q went on this ride
... he didn't think his stomach would survive! |

Mulder and Nutz decided to
buy a blow up sofa at the end of the Saturday ... these attractive grey
portaloos were a pit stop on the way back to the tents. Unfortunately,
they were both bunged up and overflowing :-( |
| As every camp site needs ...
a beer can pile in the centre of the tents. Don't worry ... these were
all put into bin bags on the Monday morning! |
